Ser Dejvid Suše (engl. David Suchet; London, 2. maj 1946) engleski je glumac. Publici je poznat po tumačenju liku Herkula Poaroa iz istoimene TV serije.

Biografija uredi

On je drugi od trojice sinova u porodici; najstariji Džon je novinar na televiziji, a najmlađi Piter je lekar. Dejvidov otac bio je uspešan ginekolog i očekivalo se da će i Dejvid krenuti njegovim stopama, što je ovaj i učinio, ali je onda pao fiziku. Dejvidova majka je ugledna engleska pozorišna glumica.

Dejvid Suše je jedan od najzapaženijih britanskih glumaca. Proslavio se ulogom legendarnog detektiva Herkula Poaroa Agate Kristi u istoimenoj televizijskoj seriji. Suše je čitao belgijsku istoriju da bi dovoljno dobro razumeo zemlju iz koje potiče Poaro. Uz to, on je sam skovao taj specifičan francusko-belgijski naglasak koji Poaro poseduje. On nije ni pravi belgijski (jer Poaroa onda nikada ne bi mešali sa rođenim Francuzom) niti čisto francuski, već njemu specifična mešavina. On je prvi glumac koji je Poarou dao tri dimenzije pošto je zaista duboko zašao u njegovu psihologiju, neobične navike i pravila ophođenja prema ljudima. Nijednom glumcu do tada to nije pošlo za rukom. Takođe se proslavio i po ulozi u nagrađivanom filmu „Sunday“ nezavisne produkcije, te po popularnim dugometražnim filmovima kao što su „Savršeno ubistvo“ pored Majkla Daglasa i Gvinet Paltrou i „Konačna odluka“. Malo je poznato da je Suše 1985. godine u filmu „Trinaestoro za večerom“ („Thirteen at Dinner“), takođe snimljenom po romanu Agate Kristi, igrao lik inspektora Džapa.

Suše se 1973. godine pridružio „Royal Shakespeare Company“, gde je imao zapažene uloge Ahila u „Troilu i Kresidi“, Kalibana u „Oluji“, Merkucija i Tibalta u „Romeu i Juliji“, Orlanda u „Kako vam drago“, Jaga u „Otelu“, kao i Šajloka u „Mletačkom trgovcu“. Pored brojnih nastupa na radiju „BBC“, Suše je glumio i u televizijskim filmovima i imao glavne uloge u čak četiri velike televizijske serije uključujući ulogu Frojda u „The life of Freud“, Blota u „Blott on the Landscape“, Džona Berna u „The NCS“ (National Crime Squad) i, naravno, Herkula Poaroa u „Poarou“ Agate Kristi.

Snimao je dugometražne filmove širom sveta, uključujući „Foolproof“, „Live From Baghdad“, „Wing Commander“, „Dearly Voyage“, „The Lycona Affair“, „Big Foot and the Hendersons“, „When the Whales Came“, „Iron Eagle“, „Gulag“, „Hunchback of Notre Dame“, „A song for Europe“, „Falcon and the Snowman“, „The Last Innocent Man“, „Red Monarch“, „A World Apart“.

Godine 1999. Suše je nominovan za nagradu „Lorens Olivije“ za ulogu Salijerija ostvarenu u predstavi „Amadeus“. Za istu nagradu nominovan je i dve godine ranije - 1997, za ulogu u predstavi „Ko se boji Virdžinije Vulf?“ („Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?“). Za svoj doprinos drami Suše je povodom rođendanske proslave kraljice Elizabete II 2002. godine dobio orden OBE (Order Of The British Empire), potom je u januaru 2022. dobio titulu viteza.[1]

Lični život uredi

Suše svira klarinet i veoma je religiozan protestant. Voli da čita istorijske romane i biografije. To mu je sigurno jako dobrodošlo i u poslu, jer je glumio mnoge istorijske likove kao što su: Edvard Teler, Zigmund Frojd, Napoleon, Salijeri.

Od 1976. godine oženjen je Šilom Feris, i sa njom ima dvoje dece.
