Island Records
Island Records je međunarodna diskografska kuća u vlasništvu Universal Music Group-a. Osnovali su ga 1959. Kris Blekvel, Grejem Gudol i Lesli Kong na Jamajki,[1] a kasnije je prodat PolyGram-u 1989. godine. Island i A&M Records, još jedna diskografska kuća koju je nedavno kupio PolyGram, u to vreme su bile najveće nezavisne diskografske kuće u istoriji, a Island je izvršio veliki uticaj na progresivnu muzičku scenu u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu početkom 1970-ih. Island Records ima četiri međunarodne divizije: Island US, Island UK, Island Australia i Island France (poznat kao Vertigo France do 2014). Trenutni ključni ljudi su predsednik Island US-a OBC Darkus Beze[2] i doktor medicine Džon Tarner. Delimično zbog svog značajnog nasleđa, Island ostaje jedna od najeminentnijih diskografskih kuća (UMG)-ja.
