The Shadows
The Shadows, u prevodu sa engleskog Senke, je bivši britanski instrumentalni rok sastav. Osnovan je pod nazivom The Drifters 1958. godine kao prateća grupa britanskom pevaču Klifu Ričard, a sa novim imenom nastupaju od naredne godine.

The Shadows su imali izuzetan uticaj na razvoj popularne muzike dvadesetog veka, na brojne slavne muzičare kao što su Erik Klepton, Brajan Mej, Mark Nopfler, Dejvid Gilmor, Toni Ajomi, ali i na jugoslovensku rok scenu.[1][2] Na četvrtom su mestu najprodavanijih muzičara u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, iza Bitlsa, Elvisa Preslija i Klifa Ridžarda.[3]
Izdali su ukupno 40 studijskih albuma.[4] Njihov singl “Apache” predstavlja jedan od najpoznatijih i najuticajnijih rok instrumentala.[2] Sastav The Shadows je predstavljao Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo na Pesmi Evrovizije 1975. u Stokholmu s pesmom “Let Me Be the One”, gde su zauzeli drugo mesto.[5]
