:::I fixed the "problem" with Ku(e)nming. Thanks for noting this. As for the usage of the official orthography (the one sponsored by Serbian Ministry of Education, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, etc.), it could be described as controversial. Wikipedia users would most likely opt for Juendi Li (we try to follow orthographic rules as much as possible), while Jundi would do for some other authors (btw, some RTS journalist have spoken against linguistic prescriptivism before). As for "z", it's transcrition is affected by "dz" not being a standard phoneme and by the already formed tradition, of course. --Lakisan97 (разговор) 00:15, 15. јануар 2015. ::::I'm just wondering because Јунан (where the city Kunming is located) has the same character 云 as in Yundi Li. Yunnan has been consistently Јунан, but "yun" was "јин" (the same as "yin") until this version: 21:20, 11. април 2013. One version later, it was changed to "јуен" (now the same as "yuan") along with "jun, qun, xun". "kun" is pronounced [kʰu̯ən], that's why куен makes sense. However, yun is pronounced [yn]. I'm not sure if the author knew it because both are written "-un". --2.245.240.33 (разговор) 03:59, 15. јануар 2015. :::::Hm, now I see what's the problem. It's quite possible that the ending ("-un") caused confusion, so I'm not sure what's correct in some less known cases such as Yundi Li, but would personally opt for "Jundi". Nevertheless, "Juenan" definitely isn't right, since "Junan" is given as an example transcript in our official orthography. --Lakisan97 (разговор) 16:39, 15. јануар 2015.
