'' Visoravan Dean '' 'is a spacious [[highlands]] in [[India | India]], which includes much of central and southern India.
The Dean covers the entire peninsula of India south of the mountains [[Vindja]], and its height is 450-750 - {m} -. It is bounded by the west of West [[West Gat]] while east [[East Ghat]]. These two mountains, together with Vindjo, form three sides of the trunk covering this plateau.
The word Dean was derived from the [[Sanskrit | Sanskrit]] word "Dakschina", meaning the right, that is, according to the Indian concept of "the southern part of the world". It is assumed that this name was given by [[Indo-Nepalese Aryans]] who migrated from west to east, so that Dean was on the right.
In [[Tamil language | Tamil]] Dean is called "takana", and in [[kanada language]] in "dakana". Languages of Canada and Tamil are the languages of most inhabitants of the plateau ([[Dravids]]).
The main agricultural crop on the plateau is [[cotton]], and it is also [[sugar cane]], [[rice]]. [[Godavari River]] and its tributaries, such as [[Indravati River]], drain water from the northern part of the plateau to the [[Bengal Bay | Bengal Bay]]. [[River Kaveri]] and [[Krishna River]] perform this function in the southern plateau.
