Aleksandra Jelovic (Aleksandra Jelović) was born on 12 August, 1989, in Kikinda, Serbia. She has been drawing portraits for many years. Upon finishing her secondary school, she moves to Novi Sad, hoping to enroll in the Academy of Art. In mid 2009, she tried, but failed. Afterwards, she enrolls and acquires a degree at the Academy of Pedagogy. During her studies, she also deals with children apart from her studying. During her second year at the Faculty, she continues to draw portraits seriously, perfecting her skills on her own. In 2011, she manages to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, being the only student from Serbia. After finishing her pedagogical studies in 2013, she continues with her studies in Italy. Some time before going to Italy, she had her first significant exhibition, at “LIFE” festival, in Culture Center Leskovac. Along with the exhibition, also come other big plans in connection to her career in Serbia and abroad. An interesting fact is that Alexandra works identically with both sides, left and right hand.
