Rolipram je PDE4-inhibitor. Ispitivanja su takođe pokazala da rolipram može da bude koristan u tretmanu Alchajmerove bolesti,[10] Parkinsonove bolesti[11] kao i u regeneraciji presečenih aksonskih tela kičmene moždane.[12]
