It depicts the Kuki Suigun's formation around the Atakebune ship called Nippon Maru built by Yoshitaka Kuki. The Nippon Maru played an active part in the front and rear roles as Yoshitaka Kuki and returned safely. The total length of the Nippon Maru is 99 feet. The diagram depicted has structural problems. The Kuki Suigun was a navy of the Sengoku era. Headquartered in Shima, headed by Kuki. It defeated the powerful Mori Navy (of the Mori clan daimyo) in the Second Battle of Kizugawaguchi (1578) and seized control of the Kinki area as a navy of Nobunaga Oda.
