Европска унија — разлика између измена

[[Политика|Политичке]] активности Европске уније се испољавају у многим сферама, од политике [[Здравље|здравства]] и [[Економија|економске]] политике до [[Дипломатија|иностраних послова]] и [[војска|одбране]]. [[Савет Европске уније]] (понекад се назива Савет министара) чини другу половину законодавства Европске уније. Чине је министри из сваке државе чланице и састаје се у другачијем саставу у зависности од проблема којим се бави. Европска комисија је [[извршна власт|извршно тело]] и одговорна је за законске иницијативе и свакодневно управљање Европско унијом. Тренутно је чине 28 европских комесара за различита поља деловања, по један из сваке државе. Председника и чланове европске комисије предлаже Европски савет. Европски парламент представља једну половину законодавста Европске уније. 736 (ускоро ће бити 750) европских посланика директно бирају [[држављанство Европске уније|држављани ЕУ]] сваких пет година. Иако се посланици бирају по државном кључу, они се организују по политичким групама, а не по држављанству. Свака држава чланица има одређени број посланика, а они се у неким случајевима бирају по [[Изборне јединице Европске уније|националним изборним јединицама]]. Парламент и Савет Европске уније заједно усвајају законе у скоро свим областима под редовном законодавној процедури. Ово се такође односи и на буџет Европске уније. Коначно, Европска комисија одговара Европском парламенту, потребна јој је његово одобрење за именовање и мора да подноси извештаје Парламенту. Председник Европског парламента представља Парламент.
