Prvi podnaslov

Izmene korisnika Apcbg treba proveriti i revertovati ukoliko su netačne. Takođe izmene koje je dodao su gramatički neispravne. --Jovanvb 15:57, 1. april 2006. (CEST)Odgovori

Korisnik Apcbg je opet dodao tonu nečega. Totalno nejasno šta je? --  JustUser   JustTalk 00:41, 2. април 2006. (CEST)Odgovori

Mislim da te spoljašnje poveznice nemaju neke veze sa ostrvima ... Goran.Smith2 00:46, 2. април 2006. (CEST)Odgovori

There was an appeal by Jovan to verify my edit. Well I adduced the sources so that that could be done, and these were removed. The removed links provide sources for the history of South Georgia: its discovery by Antony de la Roche in 1675; early maps of the island; the survey, landing and claiming for Britain by Captain Cook in 1775; and Robert Headland's authoritative book that thoroughly covers all aspects of South Georgia and includes original sources. That has nothing to do with the islands?! The earlier text here included statements supported by no references to original sources, and obviously untrue statements. For instance, South Georgia could not have been disputed since its discovery because the only country other than Britain to have ever claimed the island is Argentina (Spain never claimed South Georgia) which did not exist at the time of discovery of the island (1675), not even at the time the island was claimed by Britain (1775); indeed, Argentina did not exist as an independent country before 1816. Moreover, the first time Argentina put forward a claim of South Georgia was 1927. See Headland's book for details. If someone believes otherwise, please produce references (Wikipedia articles unsupported by external sources won't do). Also, the Argentine naval station in 1976-82 was not on South Georgia but on the South Sandwich Islands (see en:Corbeta Uruguay). Apologies for my inadequate Serbian grammar and spelling.
