Acmeodon (Akmeodon — „vrh zuba”) je izumrli rod placentalnih sisara iz kladusa Scrotifera, koji je u periodu srednjeg paleocena nastanjivao područje Sjeverne Amerike.[3][4]

Sistematika
urediIstorija klasifikacije
urediRod Acmeodon je originalno bio opisan kao predstavnik izumrle porodice Leptictidae.[1] U kasnijim istraživanjima je ovaj rod uvršten kao predstavnik izumrli porodica Palaeoryctidae[2][5] i Cimolestidae.[4][6][7] U istraživanju iz 2015. godine je rod Acmeodon bio uvršten kao predstavnik miroreda Ferae.[8] Međutim, u istraživanju iz 2022. godine je uvršten kao predstavki kladusa Scrotifera.[9][10]
