grad / selo
Sögel is a "Gemeinde" = "municipality", but no "Stadt" = "town" or "city" = "grad". Therefore, I had adjusted the term from "grad" to "selo", yesterday. A "Samtgemeinde" is a federative structure. There is a common mayor and only one municipality concil, but besides them the inhabitants of each village choose thier village mayor. Maybe my translation into Serbian language has been ugly. But, urgently I ask you not to call Sögel a city = grad.
If you like to write more above the place: at the edge of the village there is a famous castle (here in the meaning of a noble housing without strong fortfications. Do you call such a building a "dvorac"?) built by the prince bishops of Münster (Westphalia) for their hunting holidays. The name of the castle ist Schloss Clemenswerth.
The landscape around Sögel is a bit hilly (among the North German Low Plain) and called Hümmling.

Word selo means village in serbian,populated places in which majority of population is agricultural.
I returned term grad because it is used for populated places in Germany,which are municipality centers.If word grad is unadequate,then it should be changed in all other similar articles,which we resently created with bot.I`ll changed in populated place (naseljeno mesto) and inform user who`s in charge of articles regarding populated places in Germany,to see if he has some global solution for this problem.

- Perhaps you ought to write "grad, oficialne selo".
- In fact, active farners nowadays are only a minority in each German municipality. But the northwest of Germany traditionally has a very low density of Städte. Up to middle of 20th century there were even a few Kreise (districts) the center of which was no Stadt. Sögel was such a Kreissitz without Stadt status. It is not even called a "Flecken" which in originally Hanoveran regions is the term for large villages with a market.
