Bura (drama)
Bura je delo Vilijama Šekspira, za koje se veruje da je napisano 1610—1611, a mnogi kritičari misle da je to zadnje delo koje je Šekspir napisao sam. Radnja je smeštena na udaljenom ostrvu, gde Prospero, zakoniti vojvoda od Milana, planira da povrati njegovu ćerku Mirandu na njeno pravo mesto koristeći se iluzijama i veštom manipulacijom. On stvara buru da bi doveo njegovog brata Antonija i njegovog saučesnika Kralja Alonsa od Napulja na ostrvo. Tamo, njegove spletke dovode do otkrivanja Antonijeve “niske prirode”, kajanja kralja, i braka Mirande sa Alonsovim sinom, Ferdinandom.
Bura se razlikuje od ostalih Šekspirovih drama u njenom posmatranju strožeg, više organizovanog neoklasičnog stila. Kritičari vide Buru eksplicitno zabrinuti njenom prirodom kao predstavom, često izvlačeći linije između Prosperove “umetnosti” i teatričke iluzije, a raniji kritičari su videli Prospera kao reprezentaciju Šekspira, a Prosperovo odricanje od magije kao Šekspirov “poslednji pozdrav” bini. Drama opisuje Prospera kao racionalnog, i ne okultnog, čarobnjaka. On je prdstavljen kao kontrast Sicoraskiːnjena magija je opisana kao destruktivna i grozna dok je Prosperova magija čudesna i prelepa.
Početkom 1950–ih, sa publikacijom Psihologije kolonazacije od Oktavija Manonija, Bura je viđena sve više i više kroz sočiva postkolonističke teorije. Zbog malo uloga koje žene igraju u delu, Bura nije privukla mnogo feminističkog kriticizma.
Bura nije privukla značajnu količinu pažnje pre zatvaranja u pozorištima 1642, a tek stekla popularnost posle resturacije Engleske monarhije, i samo u prilagođenim verzijama.
