Erl Voren

Erl Voren (engl. Earl Warren, Los Anđeles, SAD, 19. mart 1891 — Vašington, SAD, 9. jul 1974) je bio američki političar, pravnik i 14. predsednik Vrhovnog suda SAD. Voren je takođe bio guverner Kalifornije u tri mandata, a pre toga je bio državni tužilac Kalifornije.

Voren je najpoznatiji po seriji presuda Vorenovog suda koje su, između ostalog, dramatično proširile individualna prava, okončale segregaciju u školama, ukinule školsku molitvu, uspostavile princip „jedan čovek, jedan glas“ i proširile prava optuženih u krivičnom postupku. Najpoznatiji sudski predmeti iz tog perioda su: Braun protiv Odbora za obrazovanje Topike, Laving protiv Virdžinije, Miranda protiv Arizone, Gideon protiv Vejnvrajta i Rejnolds protiv Simsa.

Voren je takođe bio na čelu Vorenove komisije, čiji je zadatak bio da istraži ubistvo predsednika Džona Kenedija.
