Behemot (u originalu Behemoth) je poljski det metal bend iz Gdanjska.

O bendu

Bend je osnovan 1991. u Gdanjsku, a osnivači su Nergal (vokali, gitara), Baal (bas-gitara) i Desekrejtor (bubnjevi). U početku su izvodili blek metal sa paganskom tematikom, ali od trećeg albuma sve više su se kretali ka det metalu.

Uz bendove Vejder i Dikapitejtid, Behemot se smatra osnivačem poljske scene ekstremnog metala.
