S-15535 је фенилпиперазински лек који је потентан и високо селективан лиганд 5-HT_1A рецептор. Он је агонист и антагонист (слаб парцијални агонист) на пресинаптичким и постсинаптичким 5-HT_1A рецепторима, респективно.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] Он има анксиолитичка својства.^[4]^[5]
