Jošinori Osumi
Jošinori Osumi (jap. 大隅 良典; Fukuoka, 9. februar 1945) japanski je ćelijski biolog koji je specijalizovan za autofagiju. Autofagija je proces koji ćelije koriste da bi razgradile i reciklirale ćelijske komponente. Osumi je profesor na Tokijskom institutu za tehnologiju.[1] Dobio je nagradu Kjoto za bazne nauke 2012. godine[2] i Nobelovu nagradu za fiziologiju ili medicinu 2016. godine za otkrića mehanizama autofagije.[3]
