Dijana Foša (engl. Diana Fosha) je rumunsko-američki psiholog, poznata je po razvoju ubrzane iskustvene dinamičke psihoterapije,[1] empirijski potvrđene psihoterapije[2] i po radu na psihoterapiji odraslih koji pate od posledica traume vezanosti i zlostavljanja u detinjstvu.[3][4][5][6]

Biografija

Rođena je u Bukureštu, njena porodica je emigrirala u Sjedinjene Američke Države kada je imala dvanaest godina i nastanila se u Njujorku. Studirala je psihologiju na Univerzitetu Barnard, doktorirala je kliničku psihologiju na Univerzitetu u Njujorku. Pohađala je postdoktorsku obuku kod Habiba Davanla koji je razvio oblik psihodinamske terapije pod nazivom intenzivna kratkoročna dinamička psihoterapija.[7] Radila je na Univerzitetu u Njujorku i Univerzitetu Adelfi, kao pomoćni profesor psihijatrije u bolnici Belvju.[8] Razvila je teoriju i tehniku ubrzane iskustvene dinamičke psihoterapije zasnovanu na nekoliko konceptualnih premisa kao polazišta.[9] Njena teorija o tome kako se isceljenje dešava u psihoterapiji proizilazi iz njenog tumačenja nalaza istraživanja teorije vezanosti, istraživanja interakcije negovatelja i bebe, pozitivne psihologije, istraživanja emocija, nalaza istraživanja psihoterapije o kvalitetima terapeuta povezanim sa pozitivnim ishodima terapije i fenomenologije, psihološkog iskustva iznenadne promene.[10] Njena osnovna premisa je da je želja za izlečenjem i rastom povezan kapacitet koji naziva pogonom transformacije i da promena lečenja mora proizići iz ove urođene otpornosti.[11] Emocionalno isceljenje i ponovno povezivanje mozga se dešava dok pacijent formira novo iskustvo sigurne veze za terapeuta[12] koji pomaže pacijentu da doživi emocije koje su u prošlosti bile previše neodoljive.[13] Lečenje se ubrzava praćenjem nastalog afekta tako da pacijent može da doživi kompletan emocionalni doživljaj, a zatim da se osvrne na iskustvo same promene isceljenja uz pomoć terapeuta. Ovu tehniku naziva metaterapijskom obradom, a ponavljano i produženo pojačavanje iskustva promene jednom od doprinosa psihoterapijskoj literaturi.[14] Institut ubrzane iskustvene dinamičke psihoterapije je formiran u Njujorku 2004. godine i ima institute širom Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, kao i u Brazilu, Kanadi, Francuskoj, Italiji, Švedskoj, Izraelu, Kini i Japanu.[15]
