Pjer Trido
Žozef Filip Pjer Iv Eliot Trido (fr. Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau; Montreal, 18. oktobar 1919 — Montreal, 28. septembar 2000), takođe nazivan inicijalima PET,[1][2][3] bio je 15. premijer Kanade od 20. aprila 1968. do 4. juna 1979. i od 3. marta 1980. do 30. juna 1984.

U početku političke karijere bio je socijalista, ali je stupio u Liberalnu partiju Kanade kada je počeo da se bavi politikom na saveznom nivou. Imenovan je za parlamentarnog sekretara Lestera Pirsona, a kasnije je postao ministar pravde u njegovoj vladi. Od kraja 1960—ih pa do polovine 1980—ih, Trido je dominirao političkom scenom Kanade. Povukao se iz politike 1984, a na mestu premijera nasledio ga je Džon Tarner.
Poštovaoci Pjera Tridoa ga cene zbog očuvanja nacionalnog jedinstva i stava protiv kvebeških separatista, suzbijanja nasilnih protesta i uvođenja Povelje o pravima i slobodama u okviru ustava Kanade.[4] Kritičari ga optužuju za lošu ekonomsku politiku i favorizovanje savezne vlade u odnosu na pokrajinske, naročito zbog pokušaja da kontroliše naftne rezerve u Kanadskoj preriji.[5]
Njegov sin je premijer Kanade Džastin Trido. Pored njega iz svog braka je imao još dvojicu sinova, Aleksandra i Mišela; Mišel je 1998. godine poginuo u lavini na skijalištu Kokani na krajnjem zapadu Kanade. Iz vanbračnog odnosa sa advokatom Deborom Kojn ima ćerku Saru Kojn-Trido, koja se rodila 1991. godine; Pjer je tako sa 72 godine postao jedan od najstarijih očeva na svetu.
