Ovaj enzim zajedno sa EC 3.5.2.15 (cijanurinsko kiselinskom amidohidrolazom) i EC 3.5.1.54 (alofanatnom hidrolazome) formira deo cijanurinsko-kiselinskog metaboličkog puta.
