Aleksandar Poup (engl. Alexander Pope; London, 21. maj 1688 — Tvikenham, 30. maj 1744) je bio engleski književnik.[1]

Jedan od najboljih satiričnih pesnika 18. veka. Aforistična vrednost njegovog do savršenstva doteranih stihova veoma je doprinela širenju prosvetiteljsko-klasicističkih učenja u engleskoj i svetskoj književnosti.
