Vijadukt
Vijadukt (lat. via ductus = put+vođenje) je konstrukcija u obliku mosta duž koje je izgrađen put kojim se premošćuje dolina, reka ili neki drugi put.[1] U strukturalnom i funkcionalnom smislu, vijadukt, koji je tvorevina antičkog rimskog graditeljstva, sličan je akveduktu. Njegov naziv je novijeg datuma i nastao je po analogiji sa nazivom akvedukt.
Vijaduktima se obično spajaju dve tačke u predelu koje se nalaze na približno istoj visini a razdvojene su dolinom ili rekom; podižu se i u situacijama kada na ograničenom prostoru treba organizovati veoma intenzivan saobraćaj (npr. u velikim gradovima).
Vijadukt može biti pešački, drumski ili železnički.
Konstrukcija vijadukta može biti od kamena ili armiranog betona i može počivati na stubovima koji nose lukove ili grede.
