Nevinost

Pod pojmom nevinost podrazumeva se status osobe koja nije imala polne odnose. Fizički dokaz o nevinosti ne postoji, ali se za njega, kod žena, uzima postojanje himena, ali to ne mora uvek biti tačno jer se može pocepati iz drugih razloga (pad sa bicikla, slučajna povreda vagine, jahanje, stavljanje tampona, i mnogih drugih). Nevinost ima posebno važnu ulogu kod pojedinih religija i naroda, jer po njihovom shvatanju, nevinost pokazuje moralnu čistotu i dostojnost žene.
