Арамејски језик
Арамејски језик припада групи семитских језика који су говорили Арамејци већ у 12. веку пре Христа. Данас се сматра угроженим језиком.[3] Говори се у неким крајевима Блиског истока, углавном код старије популације. Историја арамејског је дуга око 3.000 година и био је важан језик у време стварања Новог и Старог завета (Талмуд, Зохар) и светих списа у библијским крајевима на Блиском истоку. На арамејском је писан Талмуд и делови Старог завета. Био је то главни језик Јевреја у периоду Другога храма (539. п. н. е. до 70. после Христа). Језик је битан код археолошких проналазака на Блиском истоку.
